The control seems to work fine. It moves the end of the scope up and down as I am led to believe it should. The insulation around roughly the last 3 inches of the scope is worn. I don't see any corrosion. There are some scratches on the metal parts of the hand-piece itself. The view is pretty clear, and the focus seems to work properly, but it appears to have some tiny black speckles; almost as if some of the rubber crumbled off and got inside It wasn't cloudy and I didn't see any signs of moisture. I attempted to take a photo through it. Overall; it just looks like it needs some TLC. We simply don't have the expertise to refurbish it, and we have no way of knowing if it's usable or not. There doesn't seem to be a lot to this instrument, but I'm simply unsure. as to how much "TLC" it will need. AS IS - NO WARRANTY - NO RETURNS. REASONABLE OFFERS ARE APPRECIATED! Don't forget!
