Item recovered locally and sold AS IS. This auction is for an Omega Engineering, Inc SDX-OST-K-SMP-M Probe Handle with Retractable Cord. I'm not sure what this is or if this is the right number for this item, but that is what the tag says on the cord nest to the two pronged connector. Looks like it might be a temperature probe of some type that has different probes that can be attached to the unit to test different things. The connector is yellow and says ALUMEL on one side and CHROMEL on the other side, with a big K in the middle. The prong that is lined up with the ALUMEL has an AL imprinted on the other side on the prong. The prong that is lined up with the CHROMEL has a CH imprinted on the other side of the prong. On the handle, there is a two hole connection with a metal bale on it. It says OMEGA STAMFORD CT on it. The cord is yellow and coiled, but can retract somewhat, maybe 5 feet or so. It looked like the two prong connector and the two hole connection might be connected, so did a continuity reading on the cord. It shows that they are connected and are not "open", but a solid cord. Don't know how to operate, so will be selling AS IS. Thanks for your time.
