Here we have is "One"~Stainless Steel "Ruland Mfg." The best in the business"7/8"~"New Old Stock" Set Collar, that was left over from a company's inventory that shut its doors. There lost, is your gain. Because this item will be sold cheap!!!! saving you $$$$!!!!. This stainless steel set collar would be great for that submersible or tail water pump project or large pond or large water fall project with a large water reservoirs as well. When two of these set collars is tighten onto a float rod it can control your water level. The bottom set collar below the float switch is used when the water level rises it will push the arm on the float switch up turning your pump on. When the second set collar that is fasten to the float rod up above the arm of the float switch and the water drops to a certain level it pushes the arm on the float switch downward and shuts your pump off. You can adjust these two set collars on your float rod any where you want, to control when you want your pump to turn on and off. The hard plastic float ball that screws to the bottom of your float rod can be purchase at your local dairy supply store. This ball floats on top of the water moving your float rod up & down to activate the float switch. If you have any questions pertaining to this subject, please my all means contact me.
