To initiate a return, customers should send a message through the store they purchased the item from. The message should include the order number, reason for return, and any required pictures for the claim. The company will process the request within 24-72 hours and issue an RMA number and instructions on where to mail the unit back to. Processing can take 1-4 weeks depending on the number of requests in queue. For defective or missing items, customers must report the issue within 14 days of receipt. The company requires a picture of the shipping label on the box and of the items that arrived with the unit for verification before sending any missing items or replacements. Customers can request a return within 14 days of receipt for nondefective items. Refunds for nondefective items requested within 14 days of receipt are less the original shipping and handling costs. However, defective items will not be subject to this deduction. Note that shipping costs are borne by the customer. Returns requested after 14 days are not valid, and any returns sent without an RMA number will be returned to the sender at their expense. It is Achromatic (International DIN/JIS) standard size with an outside diameter of approximately 20 mm. This powerful microscope eyepiece can enhance the power and clarity of any microscope at an affordable cost. AmScope offers free shipping to the contiguous USA (the lower 48 States) and international shipping and handling. The company provides all warranty services, including a five-year warranty for microscopes and a one-year warranty for accessories. However, buyers bear the cost of shipping and handling round trip for warranty services. The warranty does not cover consumable accessories and parts such as bulbs.
