I bought this item brand new from Staples, thinking that maybe I could reduce my business phone bill...But, after talking with others that have VOIP phone systems, most are using the system with some sort of cable or fiber internet connection. I have a satellite internet connection and I've been told by many that it's not good enough connection for VOIP phone systems. I'm relying on hear say information so I could be dead wrong, but I didn't want to take the chance and have it not work with my connection. This unit has never been used or activated. It is still in the original box and plastic that it came with from the factory. I paid $249.99 from Staples and even though this unit is brand new I don't expect to get that back. So I will do a buy it now price. This item has a 1 year warranty from Ooma Office.
