This is a very nice comb-bound laser reprint of the Instruction Book for the Collins 75S-1 Receiver. It is the ninth edition, dated 15 June 1961. Subjects covered include: Installation: Unpacking, Cabling, Connections, Initial Checks. Operation: Calibration, SSB Tuning, CW Tuning, AM Tuning, Operation outside amateur bands, Tranceiver operation with 32S-1 Transmitter, Use with other Collins transmitters. Principles of operation (theory): Block diagram, description of each stage. Service Instructions: Trouble analysis, signal tracing, voltage & resistance charts, alignment, VFO dial calibration, crystal calibrator adjustment, IF gain adjustment, Gain and S-meter zero. Specifications, Parts List, and the schematic consisting of two 11x17" facing fold-outs. There is a photo of the top of the chassis with arrows pointing to the various adjustment points.
