SCHERR TUMICO(ST) model 20-3500 14 INCH horizontal beam optical comparator with QUADRACHEK ll METROLOGY DRO DIGITAL READOUT. The dro has button cover area for the X and Y and enter missing but does function well. This comparator is in very good condition and comes with a 10X lens. SN R885120 NOTE: A NEW OVERLAY FOR THE DRO IS ON ORDER AND WILL BE HERE IN NY FRIDAY NOV 21. Acu-Rite scales read in .0001 increments. The QUADRACHEK ll dro has all the bells and whistles and is a complete metrology unit. It has many programmable functions. Has an RS232 port for communications. A complete manual for the dro and comparator is included. Unit has a screen with lines at 90 deg and 180 deg. The screen is green tinted to relieve eyestrain. This does have the manual protractor which reads in minutes for close angle inspection. This comparator was an inspection unit and did not require much cleaning.Travels are 6.+ inches X and 4.+ inches Y. This screen rotates and has number on outer edge for ready degrees and has a 1 minute vernier on right hand side a 3 o'clock. Photo 4 shows surface illuminator picture of a screw. The thread length is about .63 for perspective. Table is in good condition and is black oxide finish. These ST comparators are very well made and last many years. This is a later model unit with one halogen bulb for profile and surface illumination. This projects a very clear distinct image. It is a very high quality unit for a very reasonable price! This unit has profile and surface illumination using a modern inexpensive halogen bulb. Please note stand is not included, it is my comparator workstation. NOTE: I ship many of these comparators to Canada with no shipping problems! Weight is about 260# with dimensions of 28X54X44tall.
