This filter is the typical IR control for CCD or CMOS sensors. The filter will attenuate excess sensitivity of Red and NIR and pass 85% of visible and near UV. This glass has a high level of transmission of Visible light, as well as the Near UV (A&B). Blocking in the absorption band is OD 3 from 725 to 1300nm, while transmission is typically 85%. The filter specifications are as follows: Schott BG38 Glass of 2mm thickness. Size 50X50 mm +-.25 mm, thickness is 2.0+- 0.2, Transmission >85% peak, Attenuation at peak > 99.95%.
