A Precision Wide Band Interference Filter that transmits the the visible, especially the red yet attenuates the UV and near IR by efficiency reflection. This filter is NOS (New Old Stock) from Omega Optical OEM manufacture. A very complicated multilayer deposition results in high reflection of the near infrared (Heat), yet almost all of the visible red light is passed (>90%). This filter is designed for 45 degree incidence. The substrate is fused silica. These filters are used in many applications where light is needed, but the heat of a powerful light source is damaging to the experiment. The replacement cost of this filter is nearly $150.00. The filter is unmounted. Specifications follow: Transmission region >90 %  average from 600 to 725 nm. Reflection >95 % from 750 to 1000 nm. Size, 25.5x36.5mm; Thickness 1.0 mm.
