Optical Pyrometer / Thermometer,Omega 910C,  Handheld, Infrared Radiation, 800 C / 2000F Digital, 9V, AC adapter,Variable Audio Tone, Hard Carrying Case Handheld Optical Pyrometer / Thermometer made by Omega, Model 910C digital accurate measurements of temperature without contact.  Omega has long been one of the top manufactures of Thermal Measurements and Controls for Lab and Industry.   This instrument uses InfraRed ( IR ) radiation and provides a large digital display of the temperature to 1 degree from 0 to 800 C ( 32 to 1500F ) with 1 degree accuracy with 3 readings per second.  Sample area is 1" at a distance of  40", larger for greater distances.  Two small eyesights are attached front and back to aim it at the target. Also provides a measurement of thermal radiation (heat output) in Watts / m2.    Small compact, light weight, portable easily transported in a hard, foam-lined carry case.  Includes an AC adapter and long output connector for recording output.   The audio tone ( Pitch )  varies with the measured temperature to help determine hot and cold spots in large equipment.   Priced at over $1500 New.  A complete manual can be obtained elsewhere.    Sorry,  the Tripod and Annie, the ferret, are not included.   #1727
