PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This is a  OFR IO-5-NIR Optical Isolator came from a working environment but has not been tested.  Please call us for more information. From manufacturer website: - Optical isolators are magneto-optic devices that only transmit light in one direction. - They are able to isolate a source, such as a laser, from back reflections.  - Back reflections typically create instabilities in a system, which can lead to a number of issues. - Mode hop, amplitude modulation, and frequency shifts are all possible side effects of these instabilities.  - Additionally, power spikes created by back reflections can permanently damage equipment such as lasers and optics. This item came from a working environment but has not been tested.    Because the item has not been tested we are selling the item for parts.  Please call us for more information.
