"Villiers Model 444H & 444H-2 Four-Stroke Engine - Operating Instructions and Spare Parts List.". This is an original Australian user's manual for Villiers 444H series 4 stroke stationary engines, that appears to have also been used in some Ransomes machines. Publisher: Villiers Australia Pty Limited, Wendouree, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Printed in Australia, in English language. Date: No publication date, this is likely from the 1960's - it has been stamped 23 January 1970 at the top of the title page. 20 pages (plus covers), this measures about 141 mm x 216 mm (about 5.5" x 8.5"). With line drawn illustrations, this covers: Engine Data, Operating instructions, Routine Attention, Maintenance and Repairs (covering various components), then has a spare parts list section with line drawn exploded view illustrations of parts and listing part number, description, quantity required, followed by Tracing troubles, and Guarantee. Ink writing: Archive number written at the bottom of the front cover, and previous dealership rubber stamp on the upper front cover. Condition: Back cover shows soiling rubbing and browning, front cover shows some wear and a few marks but is quite presentable, spine and edge wear to the covers, corners are bumped fairly hard, inside otherwise shows browning to the newsprint type paper but is still quite presentable, reasonable condition overall.
