This is a very hard to find Accurate R single cylinder low tension magneto.   It was factory equipment on the International Harvester 1, 1 3/4, and 2 1/2hp engines.  It was also used on the very early 6hp Type M engines and was an optional attachment for the vertical Famous engines, the 2 1/2 and 4hp Famous, and the 1hp Titan and Titan Jr. engines.    It is an oscillating or trip magneto  It is in used, as found condition and will need some attention before using it.   It has a brass body which seems to be in excellent condition except for a slight crack on the inside of one of the mounting holes.  This is very minor and will not affect anything.   It mounts on a 2 inch wide bolt pattern and the threads in the mounting holes are in perfect condition.  It has been completely gone through and has new bushings in both ends.  The armature turns over nicely with excellent magnetic pull and it puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to start and run your engine if it is set up properly.  It has a new name band on it but should have an Accurate name band on it to be totally correct.  These are available from the hobby suppliers rather inexpensively.   These original Mogul magnetos are tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work!  This one is ready to go to work on an engine or put on your shelf for a spare.  I can always be reached at 262 573 1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  The pictures tell the story.  Good Luck.
