This is a rather hard to find original sales brochure from the Covington Machine Company for their single cylinder oil engine They had a sales office in New York and their manufacturing facility was in Covington, Virginia. This brochure is dated May, 1912 and is Bulletin Number 1. It measures about 7 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches and has 8 pages. It has a nice engraving of the engine on the front cover and several line drawings of the engine. It also includes a test report of the engine. Are there any surviving Covington engines?? It would be a fine addition to your early engine or industrial advertising library. It would also look great displayed with your engine or equipment at the shows especially if you have an Covington engine. It is in good condition with minor wear and creasing. This is a very scarce catalog and I can't imagine that many of these survived the wrath of the wood stove back in the day so don't miss your chance on it. I also don't think there's many of these left to be found in the wild. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. Good Luck.
