This is a rather hard to find original Splitdorf 46 four cylinder base mount magneto for an early tractor, car, or truck.  These had several applications in the early industrial world.  It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind.  It is clockwise rotation and turns nice and smoothly with no noticeable bearing wear, excellent magnetic pull, and it puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is setup properly.  It is set up for belt drive but an impulse could easily be added.  You may even have a good one on your magneto that has no spark.  The points and everything inside are in great shape and everything seems to work as it should.  It mounts on a 2 inch square mounting pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape!.   These original Dixie magnetos are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work.  Not this one.  It's ready to go to work on a tractor or on the shelf for a spare.    It's hard to find them in this condition.  Let the pictures be your guide.  You won't be disappointed in any way.  I can always be reached at 262 573 1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  Good Luck.
