This is and extremely hard to find original Splitdorf Dual Ignition switch for an early vehicle. These were often used on fire trucks and other emergency vehicles where you would start on battery and switch over to magneto ignition. This one is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a small chip on the back side of the bakelite flange as I've noted in a picture. The insides look to be in great shape. Everything seems to move and work as it should. The barrel measures about 4 1/8 inches in diameter and about 4 3/8 inches long. The flange is about 4 1/4 inches in diameter. These early dual ignition switches are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won't be this nice! The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way.
