Ortho Carve CNC Lathe (Wood, Plastic, Foam).Used. This CNC Lathe machine was once in operation cutting/turning/milling prosthetics (artificial Limbs) for amputee's. The installed computer currently has Windows XP with programming installed that I dont really know how to use... there is a program of a design of a leg calf I activated and used a dense foam to try it.. if fully cut out the design.. pretty cool. I added another hard drive (IDE) and installed Linux but couldnt really figure it out to make the linux program work. I dont know how to do the M code x/y/z stuff to make anything. So I can HONESTLY say I dont know how to use this machine except run the 1 design installed already. a couple tools that I used to run the leg program showed all works.Due to the machine and age and my lack of knowlage with it.. the sale is AS-IS and NO returns. If you can figure this out.. this will pay for itself with projects or have a LOT of fun. FREE pickup is a option.. we can load it for you. any other transportation ( Commercial Trucking ) YOU must provide and pay for.A demonstration of the machine running the 1 design can be shown in person.
