This tip is suitable for Leaded and Lead free solders. You may want to pick up one of our wider chisel tips for larger pads and large through hole devices, but for most manufacturing this is an ideal general purpose tip. Our wider chisel may work slightly better with high temperature Lead Free solders on larger leads and pads.
