It features five bright co-linear beams that offer an operating range of up to 100 feet and up to 250 feet with a laser detector. Also, it comes with an accuracy of ±1/8 inch accuracy at 100 feet. The PLS5 automatically self-levels within ±6 degrees which saves time on set-up ensuring accuracy. It features a magnetic dampening technology that makes the instrument settle instantaneously when moved to a new layout point. For added precision, this laser level gives a warning red light when the instrument is tilted beyond self-leveling range and an amber light to indicate low battery status. Plus, it uses a visible red laser. For protection from rugged job site conditions, the PLS5 water resistant and durable. It uses powerful batteries that run this laser up to 30 hours of continuous use. As an extra feature, it comes with a 1/4-20 tripod thread for easy mounting.
