This is what manufacturers received prior to mass produced plastic versions becoming available. 2/4/8x oversampling. Patented silent conversion. Separate power and ground pins to output driver stages for lower system noise and jitter. Deglitch output for Ultra Analog DAC modules. Standalone/hardware or host/software mode. Compatible with many DAC chips, PCM61, PCM63, PCM1702, PCM1704, AD1862, AD1865, and others. Excellent sonics. A rare example of a well designed device. Not finicky, mostly idiot-proof. Surprisingly better sonics even with non HDCD sources compared to garden variety filters. PDF manual is available online.
