The Top Load Pack - Bottom Only Harness can be worn without the main pack and includes the fire shelter compartment with a small zipper compartment. The pack is constructed with 1000D Corduraв„ў for durability and weather-resistance and can accommodate additional accessory pouches for a variety of wildland firefighting roles. This pack is great for mop-up and engine crews, and the waist and shoulder straps are padded for comfort. The pack has a capacity of 128 cu in (not counting the 245 cu in fire shelter pouch). Please note that the RANGER strip has been added over the name on the top pack flap, which was stenciled. This pack is brand new and sells online for $201.00 plus S/H. The PACK SHACK Wildland Firefighter is a detachable pack with a top load feature. The pack comes with a drawstring closure on the top, top flap pouch, two fusee pouches, zippered accessory pouches on top and below the fire shelter, and a side-opening fire shelter pouch. The pack also has an internal pouch for compartmentalization or a water pouch, two canteen pouches, and two FSS water pouches. The shoulder straps and waist belt are padded, and there is space on the waist belt and shoulder straps for accessory pouches. The fire shelter pouch can accommodate the new generation fire shelter, and the pack has a capacity of 2100 cubic inches.
