BEARING FOR CLARKE EZ-8 DRUM SHAFT Unless your old flanges are bent or broken, you can save considerably by re-using them; there is no reason to pay for the whole assembly when you can replace just the bearing. (If you need the whole bearing, including the flange, we carry that as well.) This is a premium bearing with dual-lip seals--very important considering the dust and grit these bearings operate in. They are rated EMQ (Electric Motor Quality) with a noise rating of C-3 (very good). Much higher quality than the original bearings your machine came with. Easy to install; remove the old flange bearings, rotate the insert as shown in the second photo above, and clean the flange thoroughly. Then tilt in the new insert and re-install on the machine.
