I have owned one of these for over 15 years and love it. I was a television studio electrician so I stripped a high volume of wires on a daily basis. This tool will make a nice clean cut, then a perfect strip without changing tools. It is indispensable when working with ferrules and crimp connectors because the strip length is constant, allowing you to make uniform connections quickly. This tool is light weight, comfortable, and durable. By far the best wire stripper I have ever used, I highly recommend it to anyone who does wiring on a regular basisI am including a brand new set of replacement jaws (I have never had to replace a set myself, they are that good) this is at least $50 in the stores Strips 28-10 AWG or .8-6.0 mm, strips from 0mm up to 20mm in length Consistently strips heavy-duty and industrial insulations including THHN and THHW Strips standard insulations including PVC, rubber and silicone Provides nick-free stripping of insulation with no damage to conductors Perfect companion for any wire ferrule crimpers
