Panasonic KX-TVS100 being sold is a 2 port system with the capability of being expanded to 4 ports with the addition of a KX-TVS102 card. The unit can store up to 6 hours of voice data. Each voice processing system (vps) port is connected to an extension port of a PBX. The PBX thinks that the VPS is a single line telephone. The VPS will mimic all the actions that a live attendant would carry out from an ordinary single line telephone. the voice prompts help you command the vps. You can communicate with the vps using the keys on your phone. The VPS provides four incoming call services. Automated Attendant service, Voice Mail service, Custom service and Interview service. Panasonic is no longer manufacturing this model. Refurbished units are being sold for $529.00. Repair centers are charging over $300.00 to fix the units. The KX-TVS102 card alone is being sold for up to $100.00. And the installation manual are going for around $50.00.
