Panasonic RN-163 Tape Recorder The tape recorder is in pristine condition with barely any visible scratches, and only one tiny mark in the front. And it comes included with a microcassette tape! Even the battery section is clean with no residue. I tested the tape recorder by installing two AA batteries, and I found that all the buttons works (rewind, fast forward, record, play, volume, etc.). All the buttons worked normally, for example I could see that the microcasette's reel was moving counter clockwise in respect to the rewind button. The only issue was that I wasn't able to confirm that the microphone works, I tried to record my voice and then proceeded to try and rewind back the cassette to find my voice recording but I couldn't find it, it was as if my voice didn't record onto the cassette. So im not sure if its because the little microcassette is broken or the microphone on the tape recorder no longer works. So I can't guarantee that the voice recorder works even thought all the buttons looks and seems as if it works. Make sure to checkout the pictures and thanks!
