 PIO RUSSIAN K40Y-9/K40P-2A SILVER-MICA SGM  HI END UPGRADE TONE CAPACITOR   FROM OLD STOCK  Just choose what you need. Find your sound. K40Y-9:   K40P-2A:    SGM:     330pF        0.033uF         2200pF 470pF        0.047uF         3900pF 0.01uF 0.022uF 0.033uF 0.047uF 0.1uF 0.15uF The K40Y-9/K40P-2A are high quality PIO capacitors made for the Soviet military. The conductor is made of aluminium foil and the dielectric is oil saturated paper, glass sealed in a metal body. These Russian capacitors are similar in construction and performance to the more expensive Vitamin Q's. These capacitors provide excellent sonic characteristics, with a high tolerance in a wide temperature range. Excellent for audio-applications.   Premium quality audio capacitor for use in a variety of high end applications Great for hifi and tubeys Considered by many to be the capacitor of choice in guitar tone circuits It may be a good analogue the world's best companies SILVER-MICA SGM - 3 Constructively capacitors type SGM (СГМ) are silver electrode deposited on mica, enclosed in a sealed ceramic package. High insulation quality (high leakage resistance, low loss at high frequency) allow the use of mica capacitors up to very high frequencies in almost all of the radio circuits. Leakage resistance of insulation mica capacitor has a value of about 1010Ohms, that is order of magnitude higher leakage resistance of paper capacitors.
