They are not in the original packaging and do show just a little bit of wear and tear on the red paint. This is interchangeable with Swagelok part number SS-QC4-D-400. It does contain a valve which means when uplugged, it won't flow. Warning: A quick-coupling stem will only fit a quick-coupling body of the same series and size. Example: A Q4 stem will only fit a Q4 body. A Q8 stem will only fit a Q8 body. The 4 being 1/4" stem and an 8 being a 1/2" stem.
