PARMAK SOLAR 6 LOW IMPEDANCE ELECTRIC FENCE ENERGIZER - BRAND NEW - Ideal for small areas and short runs of fence (camps, backcounty applications, beeyard, strip grazing, etc.), the Parmak Solar 6 offers the convenience of a low impedance power line fencer in a battery energizer.  Eliminates expensive battery replacement or inconvenient recharging.  It comes complete with a 6-volt gel battery and a built in performance meter. The single crystal solar panel charges the battery, even on overcast days.  The battery will operate for nine days in total darkness.  The Solar 6 is fully weatherproof, portable and rustproof, allowing for installation anywhere.  Margo Supplies Ltd. is a Parmak authorized dealer.  MADE IN USA. Unit comes pre-wired and ready to work out of the box, includes:    - Solar Panel mounted on lid,    - 6V Energizer mounted in enclosure,    - 6V battery mounted inside enclosure,    - Protective metal enclosure Please contact us for custom sized electric fences and for accurate shipping rates. PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS FENCE LOAD OUTPUT VOLTAGE Open Circuit 500 ohms 6 volt charger not recommended on 100 ohm loads 9,000 2,650 Parmak does not rate this energizer in Joules.  As joules do not relate to the performance of electric fence chargers.  The most effective fence chargers will have the highest, safest power (voltage and current) possible with the shortest on-time, thereby allowing the fence charger to develop a shock which is more effective and at the same time is safe to use.  It is important to point out that Underwriters Laboratories (U/L) or Canadian Standard Assoc., (CSA) do not recognize the joule as a measurement when applied to electric fence chargers.
