Brand new in the box works perfectly.  PAX's SP-30, fitting comfortably into the palm of a hand, offers everything merchants could want in a sleek, stylish payment device, providing access to limitless capabilities while ensuring unsurpassed security and reliability. It redefines the PIN Pad.The SP-30, exceptionally user-friendly, provides the smallest footprint with the largest user interface of 128 x 64 LCD with 4 lines of display to ensure terrific readability and better branding opportunities. The PAX SP-30 is compatible with Casio electronic cash registers (ECR). An RS232 cable is added to enable communications between a low cost reliable cash register and the sophisticated PAX SP-30. The SP-30 is equipped with the latest technology needed for processing credit cards. The PAX SP-30 features a card swipe along the side, and EMV slot along the bottom and integrated NFC communications. This is what enables payment via Apple Pay, MasterCard PayPass and Visa payWave. If you are using gift cards, that is no problem. The SP30 can swipe gift cards to either process them and to add money to the card. This is all setup through your merchant provider, but the PAX is capable of utilizing this feature. Other optional features include broadband with dial up backup, and credit with debit pin entry on the device. A high contrast LCD screen makes cycling through prompts and downloading updates a breeze.
