In order to replace PCB, you must copy flash-memory content of old PCB into the new one or you can place old flash-memory chip into new PCB by soldering. Otherwise the data in PCB doesn't match the new hard disk mechanical structure. I am sending 100% working controller. Are you sure that the controller is defective? Head ok? For modern hard drive is not enough to change the controller.  Necessarily need to rewire or overwrite memory controller.
