Overview: The PCF8574 to IO Expansion Board is used as full controlled adapter between I2C bus to 8 bit parallel bus and one of it is main appropriations is to solve the shortage of IO ports in the system . Up to 8 PCF8574 IO Expansion Boards can be connected to the I2C bus in parallel. That provide to add to your development system additional 64 I/O ports, which controlled from single I2C bus. The PCF8574 IO Expansion Board features I2C pin header on one side, and I2C female connector on the opposite side, hence, it's more flexible to connect that board to your development system.  That board also supports I2C cascading, allowing multi boards connection to the I2C bus at the same time by connecting the pin header and a female connector. It is tiny dimensions and light weight allow easily to build it in as module to any board or whole system.
