Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) allows the user to amplify DNA sequences with known flanking regions.  It is a mainstay method in molecular research and diagnostics.   Gene And Cell Technologies' PCR Master Mix (5x) provides all the components necessary to perform PCR, including Taq Polymerase, Buffers and dNTPs.  Just provide template DNA and primers to direct the amplification to your gene of interest, and you will be on your way.  The 4 ml of (5x) Master Mix provided with this product are sufficient for 400 reactions in 50 ul format, 800 reactions in 25 ul format, or 1600 reactions in 10 ul format.  Detailed instructions for use ship along with every product.  Our newly upgraded PCR Master Mix formulation is stable at ambient temperature during shipping.  In fact, it will survive for several weeks at room temperature, without any detectable loss of activity (this is because Taq polymerase is a thermophilic protein -- room temperature is to it what deep-freezing is to other proteins).  It should be stored in the fridge for up to 12 months, and frozen at -80C for the very long term. This PCR Master Mix is fully tested and guaranteed to work as advertised.
