PDC SP2 Etira SLEEVE APPLICATOR NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a 2006 PDC Sleeve Applicator with touch screen controls. It was installed at a major detergent manufacturer on a bleach line that never went into full production, and was idled with only 6447 hours. This was set up to put stretch sleeve labeling on bottles, but also has the capability of applying shrink sleeve labels (the material cost for stretch is about 1/2 the cost of shrink material). "The compact, yet heavy-duty PDC STG is designed to apply PE stretchsleeves, and PVC, PETG and OPS shrinksleeves at thickness as low as 40 microns in all kinds of environments. These machines use the most advanced multi-axis servomotor sleeve feed systems for precise label registration and application. 100% electrical equipment. No air is needed for operation. Able to handle a variety of packages, from single serve bottles to multipacks, from clamshells to pillars of CDs, from full-body sleeves to shoulder level and tamper-evidence, the STG offers extreme flexibility."
