This truly belongs in a museum, Peerless started producing paper cutters in the 1800's. This cutter is specifically special because it doesn't bear the usual name "Peerless Gem" which would mean it is a smaller more common paper cutter. To this day i have not found another on the market. This cutter was produced before 1885 and is able to cut thin tin & paper stock 2.5-3 inches thick. It does have surface rust in some areas but all of the parts and mechanisms work great. If you plan on using this machine in an industrial setting you will need to get the blade sharpened. Its clutch is still in good condition and if you are interested in a motor please send all inquiries to our inbox. I will arrange shipping with you if necessary.
