This is a Pen-Ray UV lamp with its proper power supply, a PS-1, both from UVP (Ultraviolet Products of California). Purchased and stored away, never used except to verify it works for the purposes of this listing. The Power Supply is 115V, 60 Hz, 0.48 amps. the Lamp is a mercury germicidal lamp, pen-shaped, 5.7 cm long, 6mm OD. Made of high grade quartz with a strong emission line at 254nm (UV). Do not use without proper shielding as this is a high intensity lamp, not a toy. Can be used for sterilization of surfaces, photochemical reactions, fluorescence detection, photoelectric effect demonstrations (will be listing those in a separate listing) and spectroscopic wavelength calibration.
