Here we have an estate find from an old pipefitter. The valve has no signs of having been installed because the 1/2 in. pipe fitting has no residue of compound, and there are no tool marks from wrenches, etc. Don't know the application for this. It does have a ball check feature that permits flow in one direction. The valve seems to operate throughout its range for the gate as well as the smaller one, which appears to be a needle valve. Do you know what this is? Message me and I'll include your insights below.
