Start improving your child's handwriting skills today with a brand new item for 2013. This is a pencil grip that can be placed over the pencil, marker, crayon, mechanical pencil, and even pens. The Pincer Grip was created to help school age children improve their handwriting skills, but can also be used with adults. To learn more visit us at pincergrip.   The primary function of the Pincer Grip is to reduce sensory inputs, decrease messy handwriting, decrease proprioceptive input, and to minimize pressing down hard on the paper during writing. The Pincer Grip helps to eliminate tight grasping and hand/finger fatigue. The Pincer Grip can also help to promote a tripod grasp (using thumb, index, & middle fingers) during handwriting. Using the Pincer Grip can also help to increase finger strength for someone with low muscle tone.
