Cable may be dusty from warehouse storage but purchased segments will be cleaned before shipping. Your chosen number of feet can be delivered as one continuous length, or cut into any number of any lengths you choose. If you do not contact us with cutting instructions within 1 hour of issuing payment, your cable will be packaged as a single continuous length. For Example: If your chosen cuts total 5 feet 1 inch you would have to order 6 feet. Orders consisting of cut lengths will not include this excess unless it is specifically requested when the cutting instructions are sent. 2) Because of the nature of our automatic-feed cutting machine, it is impossible for us to provide highly precise lengths. The longer the length, the less precise the measurement. Which is why, as mentioned above, we add a fraction to the length to compensate. If it is highly precise lengths you're after, better than 2mm +/-, the best course of action would be to order your cable as one continuous length and cut it down yourself.
