PERMA POWER MODEL AVR-600 AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SURGE SURPRESSOR Indoor Use Only ~ 120V, 60Hz, 5A Input/Output This Unit has always powered on when connected and still does but NEVER has had to been tested while we have used it. As I wrote above in the "Condition Area': For some 25 years we had a full-service broadcast agency that produced and syndicated radio programs for Christian radio stations -- such teachers as Ravi Zacharaias, David Jeremiah, Kay Arthur, Michael Youssef etc. I closed the production part of the business in 2008 and have had the equipment from our three studios stored in a climate controlled environment, slowly selling the pieces on Ebay. I still have a pile of stuff to sell. Physically, the case of this surge protector is in 'as new' condition. No scuffs, chips or dents. It protected a desk computer, printer, and recording instruments in one of our three studios - had one in each studio. During the time it was used it was never tested by a Georgia Power Company surge or lightning strike. The photos are of the unit being sold. The photos of the underside product label is reflective and would not photograph well. It's perfect just like the rest of the machine contrary to the way the photo turned out. There are four grounded input plugs at the back of the unit. No, it's not an impressive complex piece of equipment - what do you expect for $15 Bucks? Satisfaction is guaranteed. That's how I have always operated all my life as I have hit the 80 mark and working through my first year as such. When I was a teenager in the late 1940's there was a television kinescoped to Milwaukee from Chicago called "Life Begins at 80" and the panel of ten Octagenarians weekly proved their intellectual skills and abilities. I always knew they were right but never thought I would also be testing it one day. (As an aside, myy Mother is 108 and my sister and I care for her in her own home close by here in Atlanta. I love telling others about this incredible woman who has blessed, fed, clothed and helped so many thousands during her lifetime. She still sings, quotes old poems she memorized as a child and wakes up in the middle of the night in intecessory prayer expressing a burden for others and our country as it wanders down its slippery slope.)

Seems to work fine but have never been in a situation where it was tested by lightning or a power surge. Physically, the case is in 'as new' condition. No scuffs, chips or dents.
