The 4 x AES Digital Audio pairs use 75 ohm BNC connectors that accept AES sample rates from 32 kHz to 192 kHz with 20 or 24 bit depth. The module sample rate converts these inputs to provide 48 kHz AES audio for use by any installed module within the Rx chassis. The 75 ohm BNC connections are auto-sensing and can be used for both input and output of AES signals. The Phabrix RxM4AES audio can be accessed by any of the audio instruments of the HDMI monitor output, the AES channels can be mapped to specific stereo pairs, 5.1 and 7.1 groups for measurement and monitoring using audio meters and loudness logging.
