Calibration of the Roughness values is a breeze thanks to the instrument's dedicated CAL button. The PHASE II SRG-1000 Portable Surface Roughness Tester is a compact and affordable device that measures surface texture in accordance with verifiable standards. The SRG-1000 has a lightweight and compact design, with dimensions of 4.9 x 2.8 x 1.0in (125 x 73 x 26mm) and weighs just 0.4lbs (200g). The SRG-1000 is user-friendly and can be operated at any angle or on any surface, be it flat, outer cylinder, outer cone, grooves, or recesses larger than 80x 30mm. The SRG-1000 provides both Ra and Rz Roughness parameters, within an expansive measuring range that is outlined in the specifications below.
