Up for Sale is a Jefferson Electric Buck/Boost Transformer 416-1111-000 + 19 Xenon 5 Watt lights. (one out of 20 burned-out). This item is "used"; however, in good condition. 120 volts 150 VA A string of 20 lights 12 Volt 5 Watts Xenon = 100 Watts on the secondary. Each light is separated by 6 inches. 20 lights x 6 inches = 120 inches/ 12 inches per foot = 10 feet (string) approximately. There is some distance to the first light from the transformer (about) 15 inches. This Jefferson Transformer is designed for the out doors. And that is because the idea was for window perimeter lighting on the outside. Plug-in the transformer and string the lights around the window or scatter the lights in a tree for festive occasions. I purchased this unit because I was installing outdoor lights across building structures and around windows. I wanted to demonstrate the effectiveness of this small light string and the advantage for lights around the display window. All shop owners are "seeking" any advantage to entice customers to enter their store and a good way is for 'festive" lighting nearby the door entry. This small transformer plus light string was a good idea for demonstration. Residence front door area around the door. Residence Deck Area around the column. Residence front lawn display area for the Holidays around the base of a figure. On the fence nearby the front gate. Around the barn door area. The xenon lights are easily sourced at the hardware store. I believe about $ 5 each. This is also a "low" power device. The transformer is rated 150 VA which means about 1.25 amps at the outlet (or) a 150 watt light. Normal residence outlets are rated 15 Amps so this transformer will not "overload" your outlet. This transformer weighs about 4 pounds and I checked the shipping cost and it is about $ 20 across the United States. (ouch). Thanks.
