I know nothing about this. I have never plugged it in. It was in a building that I bought, and I've never used it. There used to be a couple of plastic covers that went over the batteries, but I can't find them, so it is sold as pictured. It is very heavy and will have to be picked up in Raleigh, NC. I can not ship this. There is a plate on it that says 1993, so I assume that's when it was made. There is also an inspection sticker from 12/13/07, so I assume that it was working then. That's all that I know about it.
