Pitney Bowes Di380 Computrized Desktop Folder Inserter Equipped with Additional Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) scanning costs $2500 alone! Check out our YouTube video for this machine: https://youtu.be/X4pInpW1TP0 It has 2 x Lettersize/A4 sheet feeders (Also can take up to 15.9" length paper) and 1 x insert feeder and can C or Z or Double or Single fold, insert and seal (With Water Only) at a rate of up to 3500 envelopes per hour . They can also be used in 'fold only' mode as a stand alone folder It comes with the power lead, full instruction manual and Operator's Guide on CD and envelope catch tray. What is OMR? An OMR mark is normally a dark solid line on a sheet of light colored paper that is perpendicular to the direction of paper travel. This line must be sufficiently thick and dense to trigger the OMR scanner on the system. The OMR scanner, working with the OMR system software, checks for one or more different OMR marks on a document as it feeds through the system. The tracking of these marks enhances mail piece integrity by assuring that sheets which belong together actually stay together throughout the entire inserting process.
