This unit charges on the base and allows the user to answer with the push of a button. Was working when removed from service, needs standard home or office phone line. Lights all work, but unfortunately no land line to test with. This unit was just tried at an office and worked OK, so should be no issue, User & Setup Manual is available online to setup this unit.
