UHMW aka UHMWPE (technical name = Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene) Plastic Chunks - various sizes of polyethylene shapes as per photo which are band saw cut-offs - you'll receive approx 30-40 pieces - these are scrap for our machine shop, but excellent for the hobby machinist or for small machining projects.  Thickness may range from 1/8" thick to 1" thick, or thicker X 1.5" to 2" X 2.5" to 3" or larger, and all dimensions are approximate.  This material is annealed medical grade - it will not distort (unless you heat it up) like regular UHMW does!  Great for bushings and bearings, spacers, wear items, etc as it is very durable, corrosion resistant, is slippery and self-lubricating.  It is easy to machine, and can be machined best with very sharp carbide or high speed steel tool bits, drills, end mills, flycutters, etc.  Since this is drop-off, the dimensions may vary.  Please check my other auctions for other plastics, larger lots, different sizes, or contact me with requests, and I'll create an auction for what you need, if I have it.  All dimensions are nominal and may be slightly over or undersize.  UHMW Polyethylene is great for many applications including marine and auto uses, just do a search on the material to see its many applications.  Winning bidder must complete transaction within 5 days of end of auction.  Payment via CASH at pickup or PayPal ONLY!   Shipping: lower 48 states - price will fixed at $12.99 via USPS priority, anywhere else will be actual amount, or can be picked up at my location in northern NJ.
