The ATP-6501 detaping system is designed for high-volume production with a detaping speed of 3K UPH, depending on device type and size. This versatile system can handle tape capacities ranging from 12mm to 44mm. Key features of this compact and user-friendly system include a quick and easy detaping process, fast changeover for different packages, parts-per-tube counting and tube present sensing, and high throughput of up to 3000 (depending on the package type). Operation of the ATP-6501 is simple: an operator loads the reel at the input spool position, feeds tape onto the opened guide platform, and peels back the cover tape. The cover tape is secured between three rubber drive rollers before the carrier tape is directed into the exit channel. An empty tube is then inserted, and the start button is pressed. For a different device type, the operator can easily switch out the device-specific tooling. Carrier tape width, tooling elevation, and the number of devices per tube can be adjusted as needed. The ATP-6501 PLCC Component Detaper Model is a cutting-edge solution for removing SMT components from EIA embossed tape ranging from 12-44mm wide. This reliable detaping system offers superior performance and ease of use, making it the most cost-effective solution on the market.
