CLASSIC fire department collections MUST HAVE.  This item was built in 7/30/1982 and still functions perfectly.  This is THE received used my hundreds of thousands of fire department across the country to selectively notifed fire fighters of a dispatch call directed to their station.  The unit is set to 46.500Mhz and responds to tones 473/716 Hz.  It comes with a low band receiver antenna attached to the rear of the unit and also had a standard "RCA" type plug for an external speaker.  Also the factory original 110volt cord but will also run on 12volts DC with the proper cord.  This unit is in great condition with only a slight crack on the squelch knob and missing one rubber "foot" on the bottom of the unit. The unit can be placed into selective call (alert) which will un-mute the speaker IF the proper tones are received or Monitor mode in which is will allow all traffic on the frequency to be herd.  Sold as is. No returns.  All proceeds go to a non-profit public safely/service organization that is building its assets of communications gear and infrastructure to fulfill its mission.
