Pocket press Pocket creaser Maica 1001, 220V TESTED This is a pocket press made by Maica, model 1001. The operator manually lowers the upper platen onto the fabric using the handle. Depressing the two buttons located in front of the lower platen brings the clamp forward and presses the heated lower platen upwards. This is pressed in place for 11 seconds. After the cycle is complete, the clamp automatically releases and the upper platen/handle assembly automatically raises. Tested, in good used condition This unit has been tested for all its functions, which would include pneumatic operation of the clamps and platens, the temperature controllers, and the safety switch. It operates very well and has no issues. The broken switch shown in photos has now been replaced Dual head Each head has its own adjustable thermostat PLC controlled by a Hitachi Model EB-20HRP PLC Currently set to approx 11 second dwell time This includes two box pleat dies. These are easily removed for placement of a different style die.
