The KT1 WATER LOW WATER LEVEL ALARM SYSTEM is designed to alert you before you run out of water.This will give you valuable time to fix your problem before its too late. The Alarm runs on 9volt batteries (NOT INCLUDED) so no electrical power is needed.The alarm has a 85dB audio alarm, LED flashing beacon and off/on switch. Installation is quick and easy. The alarm system comes with shaft sections, alarm trigger device and the main alarm box.  You simply cut the shaft to your desired depth insert the trigger, trim the wire to the correct length,insert shaft into the bottom of the alarm box attach the trigger wires to the alarm wires with 2 wire nuts included, add batteries, screw the device shut and WHAM your almost done!!!! You will need a 3/4" drill bit and drill to put a hole on the top of the poly tank.Slide the shaft into the hole until the alarm box sets on top of the tank, its recommend that all PVC joints and box be glued in place. Its also smart to place the alarm such that it may be seen and heard. If the water level falls below the trigger the alarm will start a intermittent audio alarm and the beacon will flash, if the water rises again the system will reset its self. The system can be disabled using the off/on switch.  The idea is to save you from having to pay for burnt up expensive pumps and also when your alerted you will know that you have at least some water left for yourself or your livestock. This unit is not recommend for use with water only, well or rain storage........... Warranty is 1 year for manufacture defect in all parts, its recommended you change out batteries each year.
